We woke up, packed our bags and headed to the airport. This was the end of our Spain trip. We managed to get some more gummy candy at our terminal. Our flight connected in Madrid and landed in Los Angeles at 4 PM. Spain is definitely a country we’ll be back to visit. If you plan on visiting the country for a week or two, I recommend concentrating on a quarter of the country, at most. This will really give you a chance to thoroughly enjoy the cities and visit all the sights.
**The bills keep piling on: A month after we got home, I noticed a $50 charge on my credit card from Hertz Madrid. It turned out to be an administrative fee to provide my address for an apparent speeding ticket. I have yet to receive the actual ticket.
